Traditional concrete production is a major source of global carbon dioxide emissions, largely due to the energy-intensive process of manufacturing Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). The CemCore product line addresses this critical challenge by leveraging sustainable materials and processes throughout its entire lifecycle.
CemCore’s primary product line is called CemCore: Ready, Set, Go.
These products, more specifically, are:
Ready – CemCore’s family of ready mix cements. Zero-portland cement and a carbon footprint that can be designed to zero or even net-negative. Pumpable, adaptable (0 slump to 30-inch spread).
Set – CemCore’s family of precast cements. Also, a zero Portland cement with similar carbon footprint characteristics it can be combined with a range of aggregates to affect its density for standard to ultra-light applications. More importantly, it can compress cast-to-strip times down to a few hours, instead of overnight.
Go – This is CemCore’s family of repair products. Also fully green”, they allow for rapid repair of flat surfaces as well as vertical and overhead. They can serve as repair materials for cast-in-place as well as precast. In something as simple as a pothole repair, it can be reopened in as little as 30 minutes.
Ultra – Our alkali-activated cements are also capable of ultra-high-performance specifications, achieving up to 25,000psi (>170 Mpa) in strength. Combining this capability with our low-carbon footprint allows for applications for storm and blast protection without compromising the environment.
