CemCore’s technology is unique in many ways. One key difference from Portland cement is the fact that our product does not require a kiln to process the cement. Instead, our cement is primarily comprised of what the industry calls “secondary Cementitious materials”. Fly ash, iron slag, copper slag, bauxite waste – these comprise the bulk of our cements. Therefore, our facilities only require storage and mechanical blending equipment. This makes them more compact, more affordable and more environmentally friendly.
CemCore intends to co-locate its terminals and blending facilities at strategic locations in MENA at ports and/or
rail terminals. Blended products can be shipped by ship/barge, train or truck throughout the region.
In the US, terminals will likewise be coastal for strategic markets and also at rail terminals for the interior of the country.
