Welcome to a new era of construction where sustainability meets superior performance. CemCore’s family of Green cements is an innovative and eco-friendly alternative to traditional portland cement for concrete, mortar and resilient coatings, designed to significantly reduce the environmental impact of building practices while offering enhanced durability and strength.

Traditional concrete production is a major source of global carbon dioxide emissions, largely due to the energy-intensive process of manufacturing Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC). The CemCore product line addresses this critical challenge by leveraging sustainable materials and processes throughout its entire lifecycle.

Our approach to green concrete centers on three core pillars of sustainability:

  • CemCore may be a new name in the cement industry, but our technical, management, field engineering team and support group are not. Green cement technology has been around since the late 1970s with the advent of geopolymer technology. The field has broadened into alkali activated cements and its standardization has grown with specifications like ASTM C 1948.

 

  • Our technical team possesses expertise with over 50 years of combined experience in formulation design and field implementation. This is coupled with new, recent graduates from advanced university programs that now emphasize green cement and concrete.

 

  • A good team is also strengthened through strategic partnerships. CemCore works with other companies who are focusing on other aspects of green concrete, i.e., alternative aggregates that sequester CO2.Field engineering support, logistics, and sales depth complete the package.
  • We envision a future where concrete construction avoids emissions, improves efficiency, and contributes to climate resilience.By 2030, we aim to prevent over 100 million tons of CO₂ emissions annually through widespread adoption of CemCore cement across six continents.

 

  • Our goal is to empower governments, developers, and builders to construct infrastructure that is stronger, safer, and more sustainable while meeting national and international climate target’s. From roads to skyscrapers, we see every project as an opportunity to reduce emissions, compress timelines, and transform the built environment into a force for good.
  • Reduced Carbon Footprint: By replacing a significant portion of traditional cement with industrial by-products like fly ash and blast furnace slag, we can dramatically lower CO₂ emissions (by up to 80%) associated with concrete production.

 

  • Waste Minimization: We champion the principles of a circular economy by incorporating recycled materials, such as crushed concrete debris and post-consumer glass, which would otherwise end up in landfills.
